Annual Servicing

Getting your boiler serviced regularly will ensure that it is running safely and efficiently.  It also provides an ideal opportunity for our engineers to visually inspect inside the case of your boiler where preventative maintenance will take place.  Most modern boilers are well engineered and complex machines, but some components have a limited lifespan.  Spotting issues early can save huge problems later.  Annual servicing is also a requirement for manufactures warranties so with some boilers now having a 10-year guarantee, it is important to maintain this for the life of the boiler.

Repairs

Health Checks

We can all be complacent at times and the health of your heating system can sometimes be neglected.  Good Housekeeping is vital to ensure that when you most need heating and hot water, it is in the best condition to serve you well.  We can undertake a comprehensive health check which starts at your header tank to your drain valve on the ground floor and will include visual checks for all the accessible parts of your system.  We will check the operation and condition of your controls, pipework, radiators, valves, fittings, insulation, expansion vessels, tanks, and all associated equipment.  When carried out in conjunction with a boiler service, we believe this is the most comprehensive service you can have.

Homeowner Gas Safety Checks

As an addition to boiler servicing, we offer the Homeowner Gas Safety Check service.  This is in line with those checks carried out for Landlords to ensure their gas appliances and installations are Gas Safe and in good working order. The additional checks carried out over and above those included in gas appliance servicing extend to gas meters and their supplies, gas pipework tightness testing, ensuring the required components are installed so that the installation is safe and compliant.  We find these additional annual checks give peace of mind to our customers and for the small additional charge it is well worth it.

Power Flushing

With advances in modern boiler technology it is important to ensure that the quality of water in your system remains in good condition.  This is especially important when installing a new boiler and is in some cases a manufacturers requirement.  Power flushing is a cleaning process which uses a special pump and a combination of chemicals to help remove sludge and corrosion build-up in your system.  This will help reduce associated failures, protect your boiler, and improve the overall efficiency of your system.  It is never too late, even if your boiler is over 10 years old.  From the installation of a magnetic filter to a full power flush and treatment we are here to help.   Please use the following links for further information.
